Where the germs actually are
In most offices the dirtiest surfaces are not the floors. They are the break room faucet handle, the microwave button, the shared printer panel, elevator buttons and the door you push to get into the restroom. Those get wiped with disinfectant on every visit, using EPA registered products, and they are listed on your checklist by name so nobody has to guess.
Disinfectant needs time on the surface
A quick spray and wipe does very little. Each disinfectant label gives a contact time, the number of minutes the surface has to stay wet for the product to work. Our crew is trained to leave it on for that time before wiping, which is the difference between a surface that looks clean and one that has actually been disinfected.
Flu season and outbreaks in the office
When a bug is going around, you can ask for extra passes on the high touch list during the day or a one time disinfecting visit on top of the regular schedule. You call or email, we answer within 2 hours during business hours, and we add the visit to the calendar.
