Post-Construction Cleaning Services
From rough clean to final polish, we take a site from construction dust everywhere to move-in ready. GCs, developers, and property managers across the DMV lean on us to hit the punch list.
What Post-Construction Cleaning Includes
Construction leaves behind dust, adhesive residue, paint overspray, and debris that a normal cleaning won't touch. Our post-construction crews bring the right gear and know-how to hand you a space that's actually ready to occupy.
Dust & Debris Removal
HEPA vacuuming and damp wiping of ceilings, walls, ledges, light fixtures, vents, and ductwork covers.
Window & Glass Cleaning
Inside and outside glass cleared of stickers, film, paint overspray, and dust. Frames, sills, and tracks detailed so it's streak-free.
Adhesive & Sticker Removal
Labels, tape residue, protective film, and adhesive pulled off fixtures, appliances, countertops, and flooring without marking up what's underneath.
Paint Splatter Cleanup
Paint drips, overspray, and splatter carefully taken off floors, trim, glass, fixtures, and hardware, with the right solvent for each surface.
Rough Clean Phase
The first pass after the heavy work: big debris hauled out, bulk vacuuming, a rough wipe-down, and the site prepped so the finish trades can keep moving.
Final Clean Phase
Detail cleaning once every trade is out. We check and clean every surface to a move-in ready, punch-list standard that holds up with owners and inspectors.

What does post-construction cleaning include?
Everything the trades leave behind once the building work is done. Construction dust comes off ceilings, walls, ledges, light fixtures and vents with HEPA vacuums and damp wiping. Stickers, protective film and adhesive come off glass, fixtures, counters and floors. Paint drips and overspray come off trim, glass and hardware. Glass, frames, sills and tracks are cleaned inside and out, and floors are cleaned last. On most projects it runs in phases: a rough clean while the finish trades work, a final clean once they are out, and a touch-up after the punch walk.
Is post-construction cleaning worth it?
For a commercial handover, yes. Construction dust is fine, keeps settling after the trades leave, and gets into vents, fixtures and every ledge, while adhesive, film and overspray do not come off with a routine janitorial clean. A space handed over dirty shows up on the punch list and on the owner or tenant walk, and that can push the handover date. A post-construction crew brings HEPA equipment and the right product for each surface, so the final walk is about the build, not the dust.
What is the difference between a construction clean and a final clean?
A construction clean, often called a rough clean, happens while the work is still going: bulk debris out, bulk vacuuming and a rough wipe-down, so dust stays off new surfaces and the finish trades can keep moving. The final clean comes once every trade is out. It is the detail pass on every surface, done to the standard the owner, the tenant and the inspector will walk. A touch-up after the punch walk catches whatever the last fixes stirred up.
What is cleaning after construction called?
Post-construction cleaning is the common name. You will also hear construction cleanup, construction cleaning and builders clean, and the names of the phases: rough clean, final clean and touch-up clean. They all describe the same job: taking a building from construction dust to ready to occupy.
